On the Road to Superfast Business Broadband

September 20, 2024

At Best 4 Business Communications, we are committed to ensuring that businesses of all sizes, especially those in underserved areas, have access to reliable and ultra-fast broadband. Our recent journey across Greater Birmingham on a repurposed double-decker bus, in partnership with Faster Britain and other alternative network providers, allowed us to connect with businesses, learn about their challenges, and introduce them to new, game-changing solutions. Here’s a look at what we accomplished and what’s next.

The Problem: Gaps in Fibre Coverage

Despite the technological advancements in fibre optic broadband, many industrial and commercial areas in the UK remain underserved. Openreach and Virgin have yet to roll out Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) in numerous key business regions, leaving companies struggling with slow or unreliable internet connections. For many business owners, this lack of high-speed connectivity is more than an inconvenience — it can mean lost productivity, hindered growth, and missed opportunities.

Our Mission: Levelling the Playing Field with Alternative Networks

Recognising this gap, we set out on a mission: to bring fast, reliable broadband to those who need it most, using alternative network providers. These providers offer a flexible, innovative approach to fibre broadband, and through our partnerships with them, we’re able to extend connectivity to areas overlooked by traditional providers. It’s about giving businesses the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

A Day on the Bus: Connecting with the Business Community

Our bus tour was an opportunity to bring our message directly to business owners. We travelled across Greater Birmingham, speaking with local businesses in underserved areas, sharing our vision for better connectivity, and listening to their specific needs and challenges. Many were eager to learn how we could help solve their broadband problems. We were able to meet with businesses in a variety of sectors, from manufacturing to retail, and provide tailored advice on how they could benefit from our superfast broadband solutions. The day was a powerful reminder of how essential strong connectivity is for every type of business, and it solidified our commitment to ensuring no business is left behind.

Alternative Networks: The Future of Connectivity

What sets alternative network providers apart is their ability to offer high-speed fibre broadband in areas where traditional providers fall short. These networks have a more agile infrastructure, allowing for faster deployment in underserved areas. By partnering with them, we’re able to bring FTTP and other high-speed solutions to businesses that may otherwise be stuck with subpar connectivity. These partnerships are just the beginning. Our goal is to continue expanding our reach, making superfast broadband available to even more businesses across the UK!

The Road Ahead

Our bus tour was a major success, but it’s only the start of our efforts to bring better broadband to underserved areas. We’ll be continuing to work with alternative network providers to bridge the digital divide, ensuring that every business, regardless of location, can access the tools it needs to succeed in today’s fast-paced, connected world. If you didn’t catch the bus this time, don’t worry! We’ll be back on the road soon, and we’re always available to help you find the right broadband solution for your business. Get in touch with us today to see how we can help you take the next step toward faster, more reliable internet.

In today’s digital economy, no business should be left behind because of inadequate broadband access.
